People Paddle events are designed
to allow nonprofits like Catalyst for Youth raise money for Juvenile
Hall programs. Curtis Manzano, the former at risk youth that inspired
the creation of Catalyst for Youth in 2002, has stepped forward to "champion
its cause” — in this case, raise money for our Juvenile
Hall programs. Curtis has registered to kayak around a designated course
and has selected Catalyst for Youth to benefit from the pledges he receives
from friends and family and supporters. 100% of the pledges he receives
will go to support and expand our existing programs at Santa Clara County’s
Juvenile Hall.
To make a pledge go to http://www.peoplepaddle.com/planet
and select Curtis as your paddler.
Or send a check to Catalyst for Youth at 1724 Alberta Ave, San Jose,
CA 95125.
