The Arts Council of Silicon Valley

The Arts Council of Silicon Valley is a private, nonprofit arts organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for Santa Clara County residents by supporting arts and culture throughout the county provides funding, advocacy and technical support to small to mid-size arts organizations and artists throughout the Silicon Valley region. As a grant making organization, it provides funding, advocacy, marketing and fundraising services to small to midsize arts groups and artists.

Through The Arts Council of Silicon Valley, Catalyst for Youth received an Applied Materials Artistic & Program Excellence grant for the First Youth on Fire Art Exhibit in June, 2002. The show was organized by Heart of Chaos members, the artisan collective funded by Catalyst for Youth and over 50 under- recognized and emerging artists had the opportunity to exhibit their artwork at the American Indian Education Resource Center in San Jose.
